How will my child receive services?

Evaluations

The first step in the process is to schedule a complimentary phone intake to discuss concerns and determine if occupational therapy is the appropriate service to pursue for your child. We then schedule your child for an Occupational Therapy initial evaluation.

Insurance

We are in network with CenCal Health and TriCare (Health Net Federal Services) and out of network for all other insurances. A referral order from your pediatrician’s office is required before services begin in order to bill insurance. Please call our office for any questions related to insurance.

Clinic-Based Services
The child is seen in a specialized setting by a trained professional utilizing state of the art equipment and tools. Sessions are tailored to meet the specific needs of each child in a fun, safe and therapeutic environment.

Telehealth Services
We are currently offering virtual sessions also referred to as telehealth or teletherapy.  Assessments, treatment sessions and consultations are all available through this mode of service delivery.

From the comfort of your home, follow along as your child participates in fun, engaging and therapeutic activities led by an experienced OT. Caregivers learn strategies and utilize tools readily available to them at home to support their children in becoming more independent and confident.

Distance Learning Consultation and Support Services
Occupational therapists working with children have extensive training in areas of development including sensory-motor, self-care, cognitive and social skills. They work in various settings including outpatient clinics and schools. Through experience, they gain expertise in areas such as seating and positioning, classroom/home modifications and identifying sensory preferences to enhance optimal learning.
